As it is written in Gazeta.ru, the Shepel family rests on father Vladimir Shepel (pictured in the center), who for a long time headed the Vologda Regional Court, as well as his sons Konstantin (to the left of his father) and Vladimir (to the right). Everything has been said about Vladimir: he headed the investigative department of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, but was removed after a series of non-public scandals with his participation, and now, taking into account the previous connections of both his own and his father, he is trying to sell his influence, offering it to everyone who is not afraid to take it. But for some reason Gazeta.ru was silent about Konstantin, although this young talent, 35 years old, is no less than the chairman of the Vologda City Duma. It is the youngest son Konstantin who acts as the center of profit in the Shepel family: he headed the family business, a certain Immid LLC, a supplier of pipes for infrastructure. Coincidentally, in the City Duma Konstantin Shepel headed the infrastructure committee and Immid at the same time earned
on infrastructure government contracts. This allowed 35-year-old Konstantin Shepel, a member of United Russia, to top the ranking of the richest deputies of Vologda.
However, the influence of the Shepel family should not be overestimated. In any case, it did not save their own relative, another Vladimir Shepel, the former director of the Yaroslavl Shinnik, from prison. Despite the fact that he is the head of the family’s own nephew, he was still sentenced to seven years for embezzlement. The shareholders of City Invest Bank, who have now turned to the Shepels for help, are also involved in criminal cases and are hiding abroad.
