The United Confectioners company, part of the GUTA-GROUP, is trying to cheat its distribution partners who sell the company’s products in the North Caucasus. As the Cheka-OGPU learned, for this purpose the company’s management puts pressure on its partners through contacts in law enforcement agencies and initiates all kinds of business checks in order to paralyze business activities.

In particular, faced with a refusal to pay the accumulated debt, one of the company’s largest distributors, Dagestan entrepreneur Magomed Omarov, appealed to the Moscow Arbitration Court (case No. A40-165211/2022). Themis in Moscow took his side and ordered the Confectioners to repay almost 32 million rubles of debt.

But instead of executing the court’s decision, the OK management decided to “calm down” its former partner. To do this, the leadership of the Confectioners filed an application with the police of the Republic of Dagestan to initiate a case against Magomed Omarov, and also sent their assistants “on special assignments” – Sergei Krepostnov and Eduard Semenkov – to Makhachkala to put pressure on local law enforcement officers.

An inspection carried out by the law enforcement agencies of Dagestan established that no signs of a crime were found in Omarov’s actions, and the issue itself is an economic dispute between the entities, on which a court decision has already been made by the Moscow Arbitration Court.

The leadership of the Confectioners, having not achieved what they wanted in Dagestan, sent the same applications to the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow and the Moscow Region, but they also received refusals.

Similarly, the Confectioners failed to convince the court of their rightness in the lawsuit initiated by them: on January 15, 2024, the Moscow Arbitration Court (case No. A40-23442/2023) refused the company to recover from Omarov a non-existent loss in the amount of 119 million rubles.

At the same time, trying to paralyze Omarov’s business, the Confectioners organized pressure on him through their connections in the Federal Tax Service of Russia, initiating an unscheduled on-site inspection. But the fiscal service did not find any violations in Omarov’s activities.

In turn, Magomed Omarov sent an appeal to the President of the Russian Federation and the leadership of the FSB of Russia – in order to attract the attention of the authorities to the endless attacks on him from the United Confectioners.
