In the Volgograd region, they unexpectedly decided to urgently repair the “cultural heritage” – the monument to Dzerzhinsky, which stands near the destroyed plant. Felix Edmundovich blushed and reached for the Mauser. The money, as always, was stolen, and the monument, after expensive “repairs,” looks worse than it was.

According to the notice of an electronic auction for procurement No. 0329200062223005836, it was planned to carry out work to preserve the cultural heritage site of federal significance “Monument to F.E. Dzerzhinsky”, located at the address: Volgograd, Traktorozavodskoy district, square named after. Dzerzhinsky”, through its restoration with dismantling stone and reinforced concrete steps on a solid base, performing waterproofing and removing cracks, shells and fistulas from the bronze figure of Dzerzhinsky, followed by covering the monument with copper sulfate.

The contract price was RUB 14,090,088.31.

According to the results of the auction, the executor of the order was LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY “RENAISSANCE” (LLC “RENAISSANCE”) (TIN: 7722497850).

The need to develop 14 million rubles. for the restoration of the monument to F.E. Dzerzhinsky, residents of the Traktorozavodsky district of Volgograd, to this day, remains incomprehensible.
The statue of Dzerzhinsky, on the square of the same name in Volgograd, is placed with his back to the residents of the city, and his hand points to the world-famous Stalingrad Tractor Plant, which produced T-34 tanks. True, almost nothing remains of the plant (see photo).

But it is clear to the governor of the Volgograd region, Bocharov, who moves past the cultural heritage site every day.

Everything would be fine, regular spending of funds on the incomprehensible needs of the leadership of the Volgograd region has become a habit for residents, but after repairs costing 14 million, the monument stands with terrible white smudges from the tile seams from the base of the monument. (see photo of the “restored” monument).
