As the Cheka-OGPU learned, 73-year-old pensioner from the Moscow region Valentina Reunova, who calls herself “Chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR,” was detained the day before in a criminal case of “inducing and involving citizens in activities for the violent seizure of power in the Russian Federation” (Part 1 of Art. 205.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and “public calls for terrorist activities, public justification of terrorism or propaganda of terrorism” (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Production was opened back in 2022, after she posted a video on YouTube about the “Putinoid Palaces.”

The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia is investigating the pensioner’s case. Reunova was charged; the court, at the request of the investigation, taking into account the age and health of the pensioner, sent her under house arrest until March 17. Reunova herself and her lawyer did not object to the investigator’s request. She is prohibited from communicating with other defendants in the case, using the Internet, as well as receiving and sending postal and telegraph messages.

Valentina Reunova is the author of the YouTube channel “PEOPLE’S FRONT OF THE USSR” (878 subscribers). It, in particular, called for the restoration of the USSR and the establishment of Soviet power. The last video in the channel called “No. 13514 IMPORTANT! CONFISCATION OF PALACES AND CASTLES OF THE PUTINIDS” was published two years ago. This is what interested investigators.
