A source from the Cheka-OGPU reports on a brewing corruption scandal related to Mosinzhproekt JSC, controlled by the Moscow City Hall.
In 2021, a large tender was awarded on the government procurement website to carry out engineering surveys and develop design documentation for the construction of the Inter-Museum Multifunctional Depository and Exhibition Complex for federal and city museums on the territory of the Administrative and Business Center in the village of Kommunarka for a total amount of 320 million rubles. The daughter of the capital’s developer “A101” – JSC “SU-111” – was chosen as the winner. Then, in 2021, Mosinzhproekt paid SU-111 the entire contract amount. Despite clearly established deadlines, SU-111 repeatedly missed them, and eventually completely refused to fulfill its obligations. The official reason was stated to be an abstract “problem with import substitution.” However, on the government procurement website the contract is listed as completed in full. Where the 320 million budget rubles “mastered” by the SU-111 went remains a mystery. The murky story with the “Potemkin” documentation and missing millions has attracted the interest of law enforcement agencies and may soon turn into a criminal case.
