Colleagues report another change in personnel matters of the government of the Leningrad region. Instead of Oleg Batishchev, the order appointing him as the acting head of the Committee on Natural Resources was issued a couple of days ago, Fyodor Stulov, who previously headed the Directorate for Specially Protected Natural Areas (SPNA), became the acting director. The former head of the committee, Denis Belyaev, and his deputy, Nikolai Volchuga, were dismissed immediately after the searches by the economic police, as the Cheka-OGPU already reported on September 2. But something else is interesting – according to our channel, these searches also affected the office of Fyodor Stulov, and he himself, according to witnesses from among the directorate employees, immediately cooperated with the investigation and signed certain papers. The criminal case itself concerns illegal logging, including in the territory of regional protected areas. In this vein, a sharp change in the decision on the temporary (or is it temporary?) head of one of the most financially intensive committees of the government of the 47-region, and the very appointment of an official for whom the security forces have (or had) questions seems very intriguing!
