As the Cheka-OGPU learned, the Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation filed a petition with the court to extend the period of detention of retired FSB colonel, administrator of the telegram channel “Kremlin Laundress” Mikhail Polyakov. A hearing is scheduled for September 11.

The day before, the prosecutor’s office, which had previously seized the case from the SD of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, unexpectedly returned it to the same Ministry of Internal Affairs. Although initially the supervisory agency was determined to transfer the case for investigation to the Investigative Committee, and then to the Military Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee. This was due to the fact that it was established that at the time of most of the incriminated events, Polyakov was an active FSB employee – he headed the department for the protection of the Constitutional system of the Russian Federation of the FSB Directorate for Moscow and Moscow Region.

A source from the Cheka-OGPU says that the decision of the prosecutor’s office to leave the case to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation was influenced by the Internal Security Service of the FSB of the Russian Federation, which was preparing the “operation” against Polyakov.

Polyakov himself, being an employee of the FSB of the Russian Federation and at the same time the curator of a number of channels, repeatedly took part in the prosecution of the admins of a huge number of “inconvenient” channels, attracting the help of colleagues from the ZKS FSB of the Russian Federation and the E-Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. He continued this activity after retiring. And now I myself have found myself in a similar bind.

According to our information, the investigation is now focused on the owners of a large PR agency, through which, as the Ministry of Internal Affairs believes, Polyakov solved his financial problems.
