According to the source, according to the materials of the inspection of the activities of the State University of Land Management alone, 58 students enrolled in the university were identified who were supposed to undergo the training program for armed forces officers, but at the admission stage they did not pass medical/psychological testing or were expelled. Despite this, the university management added them to the list of students of the military department “in the dark.” The interest of university bosses is understandable: for each such “future officer” the state added an additional 56 thousand rubles in state subsidies – all within the framework of agreements and state programs. The materials already include the rector’s orders for admission to study and falsified competitive selection protocols.
The inspectors found out that a similar situation with “dead souls” occurs in other universities.
