A source from the Cheka-OGPU spoke about a major crypto-scam involving a scam involving a well-known bitcoin rate predictor, a developer, and three exchange platforms specializing in digital money. All participants, including scammers, were gathered and united by a cryptanalyst, Chairman of the Council of the Digital Transformation Association and member of the Expert Council for the Protection of the Rights of Consumers of Financial Services under the Central Bank of the Russian Federation Yuri Myshinsky. The owner of impressive regalia recently contacted the police and reported that back in 2017, he became the general director of the Bitchchange company in Estonia to legally provide services in the field of cryptocurrencies. And with the introduction of sanctions, the digital money changer decided to expand his scope of activity and began to look for clients who need to pay bills abroad. In the process, Yuri Myshinsky met a certain “Swiss banker” Anton Lepikson, who, for a modest percentage, was ready to include friends-businessmen from Dubai and other countries in the scheme. Having trusted his new partner, the cryptanalyst and Bitcoin expert accumulated almost 56 million rubles. As of July 2023, when everything happened, it was about 612 thousand USDT (the digital equivalent of the dollar). The owners of the crypt are clients of Yuri Myshinsky: developer from Penza Andrey Eidlin and representatives of three exchangers (WTC Exchange, Storm Finance and RunToRam). The circle was supposed to close after payment for goods for this amount in Italy and Hong Kong by Anton Lepikson’s partners. However, when the digital currency fell into the wallets of the “Swiss banker”, he disappeared along with the uninvested money.
