As the Cheka-OGPU found out, Molokhov now represents the interests of the owners of apartments in buildings built on the territory of the Parkovoye boarding house in Crimea and which they want to demolish through the court. The defendant in the claim, together with the owners, is the developer – Grantor Firm LLC. At the same time, the interests of the developer and the owners are opposite. The first want to buy the apartments at three times lower than the cost and send them for demolition. Owners are against demolition.
Unexpectedly, a representative of Firma Grantor, Kirill Karpukhin, contacted Molokhov, asked him to represent the interests of their company in one of the projects and offered to meet to sign an agreement. At the meeting on August 10, Molokhov took out the draft agreement, but even before signing it, Karpukhin began to push him a bag of money, saying that it was an “advance payment.” The lawyer did not accept the package until the agreement was signed, and then the operatives burst in. Under the pretext of an inspection in accordance with Articles 144-145 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation, Molokhov was kept in the office for a long time, and then taken “for questioning” to the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Kazakhstan and Sevastopol to investigator Nikolai Koftun. After questioning Molokhov, he was released, having confiscated two phones and a diary with confidential information concerning Molokhov’s clients, including Strelkov. Since then, no procedural decisions regarding the lawyer have been made, neither the phones nor the diary have been returned to him.
