At approximately 3:30, the Kremlin commandant’s office received a message from the 1st Air Defense Army that 3 UAVs were flying from Krasnogorsk. The information was immediately disseminated through emergency channels. At 3:38 a.m., a local resident reported to the police that he noticed a drone – gray, airplane-type with a red light – flying along Novorizhskoye Highway at an altitude of 250 meters. After 5 minutes, 2 Muscovites immediately reported 2 UAVs flying at the 9th floor level above Kuntsevo. The women heard explosions; probably at that moment the air defense was working and one of the devices was shot down. However, after a couple of minutes, the duty control panel received a message from a resident of Beregovoy Proezd, Alexander T., who explained that at 3:45 o’clock, while in his apartment on the 13th floor, he heard a noise outside the window and, looking out, saw an aircraft-type aircraft with a propeller and sound like a motorcycle. The UAV was flying along the Moscow River towards Moscow City.
Everyone has already seen the consequences of the arrival; air defense, apparently, could hardly work where the last drone was flying, so there can be no talk of falling debris.
The latest attacks are nothing more than combat reconnaissance of the airspace over Moscow. A successful tactic to bypass the defense can be traced: a group rises into the sky, but some of them are most likely diversionary targets. Like last time, not all of the spotted UAVs reached the City.
Information about the arrivals reached the Moscow police departments very late: the first reports appeared approximately 30 minutes before the explosion. The UAVs were only detected in the Krasnogorsk area, where in neighboring Odintsovo the shield was reinforced with personal Pantsirs and reconnaissance equipment for local VIPs: generals and officials.
