100 billion rubles will be additionally allocated for the development of the Far Eastern cities – Putin

Today Putin is playing at the plenary meeting of the WEF.

President Vladimir Putin said that an additional 100 billion rubles will be allocated from 2025 to 2030 from 2025 to 2030 for the implementation of master plans for the development of cities of the Far East and the Arctic, the correspondent of The Moscow Post reports.

According to him, 30 billion rubles for these purposes have already been allocated. He noted that the experience gained during the development of master plans will be widespread throughout the country, including support cities.

The Russian leader clarified that until 2030, similar strategic documents will be prepared for 200 settlements in Russia.

In particular, in 2025, the development of a master plan for the new satellite city of Vladivostok will begin. This document will combine agglomeration in a single development, consisting of Vladivostok, Artem and Nadezhdinsky district, the president added.

Recall that the Eastern Economic Forum takes place on September 3-6, 2024 in Vladivostok on the territory of the Campus of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU).
